About the Event

The much-anticipated total solar eclipse on April 8 is quickly approaching, and Conway County has big plans for its community festival, inviting Everyone Under the Sun to join in the festivities. Morrilton will experience an estimated 4 minutes and 12 seconds of darkness during totality, providing a rare opportunity for all to witness an unforgettable celestial event.

The Everyone Under the Sun Solar Eclipse Totality Party, Main Street Morrilton’s downtown festival, will serve as a gathering space for locals and visitors April 5 to April 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and April 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Events will primarily take place at Wayland Holyfield Place at the intersection of Moose and Commerce streets. The event will feature food trucks, artisan vendors, science activities, entertainment, and more.

To aid community planners and help eclipse visitors have a great experience, the local eclipse planning committee is actively seeking volunteers, vendors, and food trucks. Participation is entirely free, and vendors and volunteers are encouraged to select the days and time slots that suit their availability at https://www.arkeclipse.com.

Those with questions regarding this event can email eclipse72110@gmail.com or call/text Courtney Martin at 501-208-7514.

Main Street Morrilton is dedicated to promoting downtown Morrilton as the hub of community life, instilling a spirit of community through various events, and promoting historical awareness, preservation, and economic vitality.
